re:connect retreats

  • Indigenous cultures across the planet have been using psychedelic substances for centuries, to heal, inspire and bring on meaningful change.

Psychedelics have incredible potential as therapeutic agents. New scientific research suggests psychedelics could help with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, traumas and addictions by increasing neuroplasticity in the brain.

There are many ways to work with psychedelics, and will be honouring the spirit of the plant in a beautiful, deeply immersive and shamanic inspired ceremony.

You will be in a safe, supportive space, guided by a trauma informed professional, with experience in the use of psychedelics for healing.

Magic mushrooms are potent substance, but they aren’t for everyone. Please do your research as there are certain physical and mental health conditions that may make it unsafe for you to consume psychedelics.

  • The world might be beginning to embrace the healing potential of the sacred medicines, but these plants are still illegal in many places around the world.

I do not promote mindless use or consumption of these substances. If you choose to consume psychedelics, I encourage you to do your research first.

Psychedelics aren’t for everyone, and there are certain risks you should be aware of. There are also certain physical and mental conditions that might make it unsafe for you to consume psychedelics.

I educate those who choose to work with the plant, on safe, conscious, and respectful ways of doing it.

I offer guidance to integrate psychedelic experiences for the purpose of healing, transformation, and expansion of consciousness.

As a facilitator and guide, it’s my privilege and my honour, to responsibly educate those who turn to this medicine, and promote sustainable practices that protect both the communities and scared plants.

  • We are all on different journeys and no two experiences will be the same.

During the altered state of consciousness how you experience the world - physically and emotionally and mentally - might temporaily change.

You might re:connect to the feelings that are already part of you. You might experience increased joy, love, compassion, forgiveness or release loss, grief and resentment.

You might gain new levels of understanding yourself and limitations you imposed on yourself.

I will be there guiding you through your experience, and you will encourage you to express yourself however your heart desires - through quiet reflection, dance, painting, writing, or creating art. You will be free to experience the world through a different lens in nature, in a group or in a solo contemplation.

  • Set and setting are a vital part of a safe psychedelic experience and I honour both through careful preparation, ceremony and ritual.

I will help you prepare your body and prime your mind for this journey, and ensure you feel safe and supported throughout.

my re:connect retreats are designed to help you recognise what beliefs, events and emotions you have been carrying with you. they could arise in your experience again, asking to be processed and released, mindfully and with compassion.

I am trauma informed and trained in somatic release practices, and will help guide you, as you guide yourself, through whatever seas you are navigating during your psychedelic experience

during psychedelic integration sessions, you will be guided to better understand your experience, and why it might have showed up in your journey

  • Maybe your body is asking for movement, but you don’t think yoga is for you.

  • I will contact you to arrange a friendly chat after you book, to meet you, understand what draws you to psychedelic assisted healing, and find out more about your health and wellbeing.

It’s an important part of the process as I do not recommend that you consume psychedelics if you suffer from certain mental health disorders or are currently taking antidepressants.

Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you have about your medical condition.

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read on my website.
